DestaPay is a custom group hotel booking software and destination wedding booking platform developed by Space-O Technologies for destination wedding companies across North America.
The platform combines hotel booking software, hotel room block management software, wedding guest management software, wedding RSVP software, group travel booking software, and installment payment management into a single system that helps wedding organizers manage guest reservations, accommodations, payments, and travel logistics more efficiently.
Built using Next.js, NestJS, Stripe, and AI-powered reporting, DestaPay functions as a complete destination wedding management platform for wedding planners, travel coordinators, and event management companies.
About Our Client
Our client is a Canada-based entrepreneur operating in the destination wedding, group travel, and hospitality industry across North America.
His business involves coordinating destination weddings, managing hotel room blocks, handling guest accommodations, collecting payments, tracking RSVPs, and organizing travel logistics for wedding guests attending resort-based events.
As the number of wedding groups, guests, hotel partners, and reservations increased, managing room inventory, guest bookings, installment payments, travel details, and event coordination through spreadsheets and disconnected tools became increasingly difficult.
The client partnered with Space-O Technologies to build a centralized group hotel booking software and destination wedding management platform capable of supporting wedding organizers, hotel partners, and guests through a single system.
How We Built a Custom Group Hotel
Booking Software Platform
The client partnered with Space-O Technologies to build a group hotel booking software platform capable of managing hotel room blocks, guest reservations, installment payments, wedding RSVPs, airport transfers, and destination wedding operations. To streamline booking management, guest coordination, payment processing, and event administration, we designed and developed six core modules that power the entire DestaPay ecosystem.

Group Hotel Booking Software & Room Block Management System

The client needed a centralized group hotel booking software solution capable of managing hotel room blocks, room inventory, reservation availability, pricing rules, and booking workflows across multiple destination wedding groups. We developed a hotel room block management software and group hotel reservation software solution that enables organizers to manage room inventory, room categories, pricing rules, reservation availability, and bookings from a centralized dashboard while preventing overbooking and improving room utilization.

The client required a dedicated wedding guest management software solution to streamline guest invitations, RSVP tracking, booking management, payment monitoring, and communication across destination wedding groups. We built a centralized guest management platform and destination wedding guest management software solution that allows organizers to manage guest profiles, invitations, booking status, payments, travel details, and wedding participation from a single interface.

Manage partner hotels, room inventory, accommodation packages, room categories, and resort amenities from a single interface. The platform supports configurable hotel listings, custom amenity categories, inventory management, and Excel-based bulk imports.
Stripe Payment Ledger
Track every deposit, installment payment, refund, and transaction through a searchable payment ledger. Administrators can monitor payment status, booking references, guest transactions, and financial activity across all destination wedding groups.
AI-Powered Report Generation
Generate AI-powered reports covering revenue performance, collected versus outstanding balances, booking conversion rates, payment distribution, guest analytics, and wedding group performance without manual data compilation.
Role-Based Access Control
Manage platform access through a configurable role system with support for Super Admins, Sub-Admins, and custom staff roles. Granular permissions can be assigned at module level for operational security and governance.
Guest Invitations & Wedding RSVP Management
Invite guests via email, track invitation status, monitor RSVPs, import guest lists, and measure booking conversion rates for each wedding group through a centralized invitation management system.
Airport Transfer Coordination
Monitor guest arrivals, departures, flight schedules, transfer requests, and transportation assignments from a single dashboard. The system simplifies travel coordination between airports, hotels, and wedding venues.
Support Ticket Management
Provide guest support through a built-in ticketing system that allows staff to manage inquiries, assign priorities, track issue status, and monitor resolution timelines across multiple wedding groups.

Browse available accommodations, compare room categories, review hotel amenities, and select preferred rooms with pricing that automatically adjusts based on travel dates, room type, and stay duration.
Installment Payment Plans with Autopay
Choose between full payment or installment-based booking plans with autopay enrollment, automated reminders, transparent payment schedules, invoice access, and real-time payment tracking.
Solo Guest Connections
Guests attending independently can connect with other solo attendees, coordinate transportation, share travel plans, and build connections before arriving at the destination wedding.
Flight Details & Transfer Requests
Submit flight information, manage arrival and departure schedules, request airport transfers, and track transportation arrangements directly from the guest portal.
Cancellation Requests & Booking Management
Guests can review reservation details, submit cancellation requests, track approval status, and manage booking-related changes through a self-service booking management experience.
